It's strange because loading the bios's optimized defaults sets PTT to disabled but I can't seem to: load my bios profile -> set PTT disabled -> save profile, without it ignoring the change on reboot. I assume if the mobo has full hardware TPM capability, there's no need for PTT but it's hard to find details on this stuff.

I have a asus z170 pro and a 6700K i7. bios dosnt have a TPM switch, it dosnt come with it. And i cant figure out how to switch the Intel PTT software on? It seems if I ever want to upgrade past 10, I'll need to build an entirely new pc
